The staff was really nice. We had half board and they immediately remembered our preferences for the rest of the stay. The receptionists were always very helpful. The premises were nice and clean. The breakfasts were very good, typical continental with eggs and bacon etc as well as nice pastries. Dinners were fancy, 3 courses of fine dining. Even though it was limited for me as I am lactose intolerant, the restaurant staff did their best to accommodate it, for example by offering me sorbet as a dessert since there was no no-lactose desert in their dinner menu. Overall, though, we agreed that this was definitely a great hotel and was well worth the price. It said it was a 3 star hotel but we thiught it was definitely high 3 or nearly 4 star-like.

The location is amazing. We paid for a superior room wit balcony facing the sea but we didn't get to enjoy the hotel and Cascais as much as we would have liked as we were in bed for nearly all of our 3 night stay as we both had horrendous coughs and gastroenteritis. We ended up going to hospital on our second day as it turned out we had covid. We warmed the housekeeping team to avoid our room in case they got sick and they were grateful that we had given them the heads up. I will definitely return to check this hotel out properly. I really wanted to try their breakfast but I was asleep more or less for the whole 3 night break. Luckily the aircon is a dream and the beds are very large and comfortable.

The staff starting at the front desk, to the waiters, maids, bartender were extremely helpful, hospitable, kind and always in a good mood and willing to make us feel at home. The location is undeniably the perfect spot to enjoy all thatCascais has to offer!!!!!! It is walking distance to everything! Shops, restaurants, beach, pharmacy, train station...and We were lucky enough to enjoy Festas do Mar which were live concerts and entertainment right in front of our eyes! We had a sea view room and I would book it time and time again! The view front our balcony was breathtaking! Do not hesitate to stay at Hotel Baia! It will not disappoint!

The location of this hotel is perfect. Literally a 30 second walk across the road to the beach, with bars and restaurants all a minute away. We had a seafront room, and whilst there was some external road noise as other reviews have said, it wasn't enough to keep us awake. Breakfast was great with many different options available, but we didn't eat at the hotel at any other times. Room was comfortable and clean with lovely power shower, and enough space on the balcony to watch the world go by. We used the roof terrace a couple of times, with plenty of beds and chairs available as well as a good quick bar service.

Everything about this hotel was FAB. It's in a stunning location looking out to the sea and even though out room was at the back of the hotel we had a lovely city view. The room itself was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, with a lot of options to suit all tastes.and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. A special mention for Manuela at reception, who was very helpful in giving us directions to a lovely walk along the cliff top to a lighthouse tourist attraction with lovely eateries
