The staff was really nice. We had half board and they immediately remembered our preferences for the rest of the stay. The receptionists were always very helpful. The premises were nice and clean. The breakfasts were very good, typical continental with eggs and bacon etc as well as nice pastries. Dinners were fancy, 3 courses of fine dining. Even though it was limited for me as I am lactose intolerant, the restaurant staff did their best to accommodate it, for example by offering me sorbet as a dessert since there was no no-lactose desert in their dinner menu. Overall, though, we agreed that this was definitely a great hotel and was well worth the price. It said it was a 3 star hotel but we thiught it was definitely high 3 or nearly 4 star-like.

The staff starting at the front desk, to the waiters, maids, bartender were extremely helpful, hospitable, kind and always in a good mood and willing to make us feel at home. The location is undeniably the perfect spot to enjoy all thatCascais has to offer!!!!!! It is walking distance to everything! Shops, restaurants, beach, pharmacy, train station...and We were lucky enough to enjoy Festas do Mar which were live concerts and entertainment right in front of our eyes! We had a sea view room and I would book it time and time again! The view front our balcony was breathtaking! Do not hesitate to stay at Hotel Baia! It will not disappoint!

Everything about this hotel was FAB. It's in a stunning location looking out to the sea and even though out room was at the back of the hotel we had a lovely city view. The room itself was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, with a lot of options to suit all tastes.and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. A special mention for Manuela at reception, who was very helpful in giving us directions to a lovely walk along the cliff top to a lighthouse tourist attraction with lovely eateries

Caroline

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We left our baby stroller outside the room, and it went missing. The staff were incredibly supportive, helped us locate it, and even sent some cakes and snacks to our room as an apology. We were staying there for our son's birthday and were delighted to receive a wonderful surprise in our room on his special day. The hotel's location is excellent, close to many sightseeing spots, restaurants, and the beach.

I liked the personnel mix: there were personnel in solid ages, but also youngsters. It gave me the expression, that this is a company with long history and solid background. Although the hotel was newly renovated, it had kind of feel of old colonial time. There was a covered swimming pool, which could be used even in November. The room (without balcony) had enough space for luggage and stuff even for longer stay.
